The final day of my online residency with RAKE Community is here and I would like first of all to thank the entire RAKE Collective for this opportunity showing trust in my research and work. ☺️✨ 

During this time I managed to share bits of my theoretical research as well as made links to my current practical art experiments. This was a great way to reflect upon my practice as a whole and delve into not only ways of expression but also the materiality of my works. Invisibility for me can take an endless number of faces in our society, or it can be the intermediate way which leads us to some very dark and questionable places within it. However, I like using invisibility as a property in my works. It doesn't need to have a negative or positive note, but it's something helpful and necessary so the system keeps going. 

Invisibility exists in nature, and so, as far as I have seen every kind of nature, physical, digital or any hybrid form. Invisibility exists from the moment you 'see' it. Invisibility allows connections, dynamics, feelings, reactions, opinions to happen. Invisibility creates a space for discussion, balance and fluidity. It allows the right balance in order for different spaces to connect, react, discuss and become something new; the Other. Through my work that kind of space or Place is the ultimate goal each time, but most importantly bringing onto the surface that different way of seeing the invisible space, that we are not yet trained to see with our bare eyes.
